Dispersion fixative

PROFIX is a dispersion fixative to adhere PROSECUREfibretec, PROFOLIO sealing and decoupling foil, PROSILENCE decoupling step and walking noise insulation board and pipe support elements from Proline Energy on the substrate.

PROFIX is a single-component fixative and has a very low emission since it is solvent-free according to TRGS 610. PROFIX is non inflammable and can therefore be used without endangering health. It hardens in approx. 3 hours to such an extent that work can continue immediately on the bonded elements.

PROFIX Universal Fixative is suitable for a wide range of applications:

- To adhere a wide variety of materials such as wood, metal and plastics as well as decoupling, bearing and protective layers.
- In dry and wet rooms inside buildings.
- For standard loads in residential buildings and in industry.
- For all types of solid substrates.

PROFIX is very easy to process:
The single-component fixative is applied directly onto suitable substrates with a lambskin or neoprene roller. The position of PROSECUREfibretec and other decoupling and insulation underlays can also be corrected after laying. PROFIX Universal Fixative is:

- A ready to use dispersion fixative.
- Has low solvent content and is non-toxic (not a hazardous substance according to EU Directives).
- Easy to process.
- Compensates for cracks.
- Certified by general building supervision test report (in conjunction with PROFOLIO sealing and decoupling foil, PROFOLIO sealing tape corners and PROFOLIO sealing sleeves, PROFIX DS)
- Can be used to bond PROFOLIO to walls in Stress Class A/A0 as a practical addition to the PROFOLIO system.
