PROCONNEX family has a new addition

PROCONNEXcurve is the name of the new member of the family. It now makes the benefits of PROCONNEX available to a variety of different radiuses.

The excellent elastic properties of PROCONNEX profiles have proven themselves in practice with expansion and intermediate joints. The PROCONNEXcorner edge jointing profile also makes time-consuming pretreatment superfluous and ensures an attractive, uniform joint with no risk of cracks forming due to its elasticity.

The PROCONNEXcurve flexible profile is now the answer to the current trend - the design-oriented combination of floors using different materials or different colours. This demand for visually appealing solutions is often accompanied by the desire to separate top coverings from each other in shapes other than rectangles. PROCONNEXcurve can now be used to design arches, circles and circular segments with a radius of at least 100cm. The required expansion joint is integrated in this profile.

The secret of the new profile is achieved by modifying two Procurve profiles at right angles to each other. They are joined by the tried and tested Proline sealing system comprising high-quality sealing materials which reliably and permanently prevent three-point adhesion. The exceptional elasticity of this profile is achieved by a production process in air-conditioned dust-free rooms.

Whether it is used on popular vinyl, laminate or parquet floors, PROCONNEXcurve is designed for universal applications since it is available for floor covering thicknesses from 3mm to 15mm and comes in natural aluminium or V2A stainless steel. The standard colour of the profile insert is concrete grey; there are 33 attractive colours to choose from, depending on requirements. The radiuses specified in the installation plans can be easily reproduced with PROCONNEXcurve using the Proline bending device, Probend.

With this new product, Proline now offers another perfect, practical solution for expansion and edge joints. It will be interesting to see whether the PROCONNEX family will continue to grow in future and what form any new addition will take.
